Most cold/flu syrups handle one or two symptoms. Rompe Tos X combines four clinically established actives in a single liquid — at the right doses for the targeted age group.

Acetaminophen
Fiebre y Dolor de Cabeza
Pain reliever and fever reducer. Acts on the central nervous system; gentle on the stomach compared to NSAIDs.
Dextromethorphan HBr
Control de la Tos
Cough suppressant. Acts on the cough reflex center in the brain to quiet dry, non-productive coughs.
Guaifenesin
Adelgaza y Expulsa las Flemas
Expectorant. Thins and loosens mucus in the airways so coughs become productive and chest congestion clears faster.
Phenylephrine HCl
Congestión Nasal
Decongestant. Constricts swollen nasal blood vessels to relieve stuffiness and sinus pressure.

How to take it.

Each box includes a measuring cup (vasito dosificador). Always read the Drug Facts panel on the package before use. Children's and adult formulas are calibrated separately — use the right one for the right person.

Pick the right SKU
Jarabe Infantil for children, Jarabe Adulto for adults. Don't substitute one for the other — doses are different.

Measure with the included cup
Use the dosing cup that comes in the box. Don't use a kitchen spoon — they vary in size and lead to inaccurate doses.

Follow the label dosing
Refer to the dosing chart on the carton for the correct amount based on age. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.

Stop after 7 days
Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a doctor. If symptoms persist or worsen, see a healthcare professional.

Before you take it.

  • Liver warning. Contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if more than the maximum daily amount is taken, with other drugs containing acetaminophen, or with 3+ alcoholic drinks per day.
  • Do not use with any other product containing acetaminophen, dextromethorphan, guaifenesin, or phenylephrine without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not use if currently taking a prescription MAOI (for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease) or for two weeks after stopping. Ask a pharmacist if unsure.
  • Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma, liver disease, or trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate.
  • If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use.
  • For children: follow the age-based dosing on the Jarabe Infantil package. Children under 4 — ask a doctor.
  • Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, contact a Poison Control Center right away (1-800-222-1222).
